WHO IS SCOOPPA??

If there’s one thing Houston native artist Scooppa has and knows, it’s experience. From appearing in local Texas music events, escaping death, witnessing the death of his best friend to the resent loss of his beloved Narcisa. This artist's life has been nothing short of breathtaking and complex...

Another thing Scooppa has, that comes as a direct result of said experiences, is superior composing/ producing/ visual skills. Hailing from a city where game and affiliations at times trump verbal, beat dexterity and lyricism. Scooppa is a new comer to New York that has produced some of hip-hop’s and the world hardest artist's. Scooppa was born in Houston, Texas raised in between San Antoino and Angelino Heights, CA aka "Echo Park". His family comes as far as Spain, Mexico, Ireland, Puerto Rico, New York NYC, Los Angles, CA to San Antoino, Texas. His father moved Scooppa back to Houston when he was around five years old to the North side of Houston "Montie Beach", an area known for it’s cultural diversity and some levels of poverty.

Scoopa says: "I hustle hard to make a better life for myself. Mom and Pop's couldn't always give me what I wanted like Jordans and other things" I know how grind, having to hustle was a tough time in my life. I was so young and it really made me a man ahead of my time well it made me reponsible that's for sure. I literally worked since I was like 12, with me cleaning out buildings for construction sites owners, mowing lawns to all types of odd jobs and I actually took some pride in that, knowing I made money with out grinding the streets. I felt like I had a purpose, like God wanted me to go through these things to make me a stronger and better person. But no matter what I did, no matter what I was selling or birds I was plucking, I knew in my heart that music and web design was gonna be my thing. As I progressed, the only reason I was still in the street game was so I could pursue this web/ music thing. So now at the end of all this I don’t want to be viewed as a dope dealer or thug but more as a true wise hustler. Yo I did what I had to do to put food in my stomach and pay my bills. All the things I did on the streets in the past is just one of the many chapters in my life that I wanna share with you, the public through my visual disigns and my music.”...

A deft composer, web designer with a natural flair and style from day one, the more he composed, designed to produce, the more people recognized him and quickly realized that was the way out for him.

Scooppa says: "I began to really pursue my web graphic dsigns and music career in NYC in the start 2004 When I pick up and moved to NYC my position in composing music and web graphic design got deeper, as did my passion for success in web design, hip-hop and Reggaeton beats. So I had to take a chance make my mind up and move to NYC. What really changed my life was that Puerto Rican Shorty Doo Wop Marimar, after Marimar kept drilled in my head that I have a visual, musical talent and I should apply to it to make a better life for myself, I thought hey (WTF) why not...

So currently now sitting on top of the hip-hop and Reggaton nation in NYC, and I'm letting the world know that there’s more to this Texas Boy from the 4th largest city in the USA than just Candy Paint and Codeine. I'm poised to be the next big sound in my home town of Houston, Texas, my 2nd home in NYC and to all my Asian friends down in Hong Kong. So what can I say to y'all right now;

Yo you can get with me now, or just pretend you were down with me when my beats and web designs hits the top of the world. Hell I want to be the next Latin legends, like Tito Puente, Celia Cruz and Big Pun. I want to be the voice, sound of Mi Gente the people and the beats of the boroughs. I want to represent positive strugges in my music and what’s real. I can drop rap beats or reggaeton beats for los latinos and I wanna to speak for the people that might not have the voice to speak I do it through my visual designs and music. I plan on given my clients, friends and family track record, hot web designs and the talent I'm bringing to you on your tables, that should be no problem to do once you hear, see and get a taste of Scooppa & Dirty Borough Productionz. BON APPETIT...
