One of my professors once told me that there's a unique edge to my personality that shows that there's a real person there...this sort of vague comment was in response to me trying to convince him that I really wasn't as good as i appeared. In truth, I define a "good" person as possessing integrity and genuineness. Others probably define it as being indescriminantly nice to people. That I am not. It often seems like I have no internal monologue because I apparently have no ability to bullshit. This is interpreted by some as unsettling and by others as refreshing and endearing.Otherwise, i am involved in gay rights activism and a moderate amount of volunteer work mostly with people with mental illness and AIDS.

Books: usually non-fiction or philosophy books, my interests are varied, i also like comics
Movies: Kubrick films, cult classics like Death Race 2000, Zardoz,and Legend, Muppet Films, also Network, Toys,Sunshine, Doomsday and any apocolyptic based film with (especially any containing steam punks),LostBoys, Stand by Me, Logans Run, Hedwig...the list goes on and on
